a private/community project to restore the last remaining homes of Raleigh’s historic 4th Ward. In 2008, Working with the
Raleigh City Council, local renovators, and new owners, a plan was put into place to purchase more than twenty historic
houses and home sites, renovate all the existing houses and build new historically detailed homes on all the vacant lots.
